This site and IFS Builder 3D program were created by
Kravchenko Alexei and Mekhontsev Dmitriy,
graduates of Novosibirsk State University (NSU).
While studying on the third year we
became interested in these amazing objects - fractals.
There was a lucky coincidence, that in our university
on the chair of the Theory of Functions,
under supervision of Ph.D. V.V.Asseev,
there is a seminar on self-similar fractals.
Since then, we specialized in fractal theory,
created many programs for exploring various behavior of fractals
and wrote diploma works on interesting themes.
In conclusion we would want to note, that the theory of fractals has many interesting and yet unsolved mathimatical problems. |
